WRITE add-on for MS Word — settings for linking files to MS Word document

You can control how and if the files in the viewer are linked to the MS Word document.

Lexprompt WRITE add-on file linking settings

After opening the add-on, click on the Settings tab (as shown below).

Under the settings, look for the heading Viewer Options.
By default, the files that are open in the viewer are linked with the MS Word document. You should see a check mark next to “Viewer saves open files.”
The default setting is Enabled – Private
Under the Private setting, the location of the linked files is encrypted such that only your installation (license) can decrypt it. So that anyone else who opens this files and has Lexprompt write will not be able to get the links to the linked files.
